Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, arrived in India earlier this week and in an unsurprising twist, suddenly everyone's interested in politics. Dubbed by Shah Rukh Khan as "the coolest prime minister in the world", Trudeau's Indian visit is to discuss relationships and business between the two countries and along with that, he has also managed to raise the political style stakes considerably, with every outing of his making fashion news.
For a walk around New Delhi's Jama Masjid, the prime minister sticks to a tailored grey suit with a light blue shirt and mint tie. His wife Sophie covers her head respectfully as she wears a yellow salwar kameez while their sons, Hadrien and Xavier match adorably in striped shirts and khakis.

To pay their respect at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, the PM wears a white kurta - pajama suit with gold trimmings while covering his head, like the rest of the family. Xavier matched his dad in a navy kurta while his daughter Ella-Grace and wife Sophie opted for blue toned salwar kameezs'.

To strengthen ties between the Canadian film industry and Bollywood, the prime minister went all out for his meeting with B-town's film personalities. He wore a gold sherwani suit with maroon trimmings, pajamas and juttis.

Possibly his winning look from his Indian trip was from his meeting with Indian business honchos. Sitting beside the chairman of Tata Sons, Nataranjan Chandrasekaran was PM Trudeau in a crisp navy blue suit, blue shirt and red tie. Giving us a glimpse of his fun side was a pair of polka-dotted red socks under tan brogues. A complete 10 on 10 from us.

Leading his youngest son, Hadrien, who is Indian media's latest sensation, is Justin Trudeau at Ahmedabad's Gandhi Ashram. Both, father and son are in kurta - pajama suits with little Hadrien in a yellow one while the PM opts for a red and beige combination.

On arrival at the Air Force Station Palam in Delhi, Justin Trudeau wore a dapper grey suit with a pastel shirt and red pattern tie. His accessory with his look? His charming smile.

During the family's visit to the Taj Mahal, all the boys stuck to soothing blues. Prime minister Trudeau wore khakis with his Indian trip staple, the blue shirt and a checked dark blue blazer. His sons wore matching khakis with blue shirts and sunglasses with hats to match.

Now we certainly hope it was as successful a trip as it was stylish.
