When Kalki Koechlin is not busy with films she is exploring the offbeat destinations of India. An avid traveller, her holiday diaries are a wonderful fusion of basking in nature's glory and experiencing the umpteen adventures the place has to offer. Her latest destination? A rural farm stay or Maachlis — traditional huts prepared by farmers, in Sindhudurg, Maharashtra. She shared a carousel of snaps from the picturesque location. The actress revealed that she was unaware of the “deep dives and perfect days (that) exist off the coast of Maharashtra.” Kalki's vacation began by taking a selfie with her friends, sitting on a mini truck with water-sports equipment, surrounded by lush greenery.
Kalki Koechlin proved herself to be a water baby as she took a serene boat ride amidst crystal blue waters. During the tranquil ride, she was treated to the visuals of the towering lighthouse in the town of Vengurla, standing tall upon a rocky-rugged terrain. An illustration of an object revealed that the diva enjoyed a thrilling scuba diving experience. She hiked barefoot on the soft red soil covered with withered leaves, encircled by trees. Food was also a priority and she treated herself to a delicious traditional Indian thali comprising steamed rice, mixed veg, red spinach, two fish fries, papads, and a fruity beverage to top it all off. Kalki also captured a heartwarming moment of some locals preparing flour balls.
