Kangana Ranaut Nails Her First Look At Cannes In A Black Saree

Cannes 2018 Film Festival has already kick started, and making her red carpet debut at the 71st International Festival this year will be Bollywood queen Kangana Ranaut. Kangana will be walking the red carpet tonight, and it's needless to say that her fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing her look, especially after she made heads turn by exuding her charming best in a Sabyasachi Mukherjee black saree.

There were speculations back home that the Bollywood actress would be choosing Sabyasachi Mukherjee outfits to make a smashing debut at one of the biggest red carpet events, even though she is only there for a few days. Looks like her fans were right and they loved her first look in a black, heavily sequinned saree. The designer on his Instagram account mentioned that Kangana was dressed "in an ultra-glamorous rendition of our famous ''Aakash-tara' (i.e. starry skies) saree. The saree is hand-dyed and embellished with hand-cut sequins that are individually sewn using zardosi technique, to create a metallic, yet fluid fabric."

Her look was accessorised with a batua and the 'teenmaniya' necklace (crafted out of rose-cut diamonds, Colombian emeralds and basra pearls from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry Collection). What made Kangana's look perfect was the way she wore her hair, exuding an old world charm in a bouffant-inspired hairdo.

Kangana is representing Grey Goose which is celebrating cinematic excellence through its global platform Vive Le Cinema. The brand is the official celebration partner at Cannes every year and this year, it chose Kangana to represent and celebrate Indian cinema at the Cannes Film Festival. Kangana was invited for an interactive session at the India Pavilion with Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chairman Prasoon Joshi, where she spoke about gender equality in the film industry.

Kangana brought out her stylish best right from the time she left Mumbai. We spotted her at the airport in a black bodycon dress, which she teamed with a trendy pair of white stilettos.
