Kangana Ranaut and Sonam Kapoor are undoubtedly two of Bollywood's biggest fashionistas. When it comes to experimenting with style and wearing outfits that are unusual, there are few who can match Kangana Ranaut and Sonam Kapoor's panache. These two ladies always seem to be the first in sporting any global fashion trend and their ability to truly own everything they wear is unparalleled. Even with their keen eye for fashion trends and the host of international designers available to them, Kangana and Sonam seem to have something else in common - there interest in and support for Indian fashion labels. Both Kangana and Sonam are often seen in ensembles from local art-house fashion designers and needless to say, they do them complete justice. Although there is an endless range of designers whose outfits Sonam and Kangana wear, just like the rest of us, they seem to have their favourites too. In this particular case, we're talking about the fashion label, Pero.
After walking the ramp for designer Anju Modi at the opening night of India Couture Week, yesterday, Kangana returned to Mumbai wearing a hand embroidered deep blue ensemble from Pero. Her outfit comprised of a kurta, straight pants a matching dupatta, all with floral embroidery.
While Kangana looked as stylish as ever in her traditional Indian outfit, we couldn't help but wonder where we'd seen something rather similar before. It was, of course, on Sonam Kapoor.
For a recent screening of her cousin Janhvi Kapoor's debut film, Dhadak, Sonam wore a midnight blue, cropped palazzo suit by Pero. She teamed the loose fit kurta and the matching dupatta, which had floral printed panels, with a matching pair of cropped palazzos.

This isn't the first time Sonam or Kangana have been spotted wearing Pero's designs. Their liking for the brand and it's ensembles seems to date back years.
All the way back in 2015, Kangana wore a floral dress with crochet detailing from Pero for the promotions of her film, Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
In the summer of 2016, Sonam wore a handwoven brocade trench coat by Pero to a Cole Haan launch party. We love the coat, but we can't stop admiring Sonam's hair and lip colour.
For the premiere of the film Madaari in 2016, Kangana wore another outfit by Pero. This time, a handwoven cotton silk dress with zari polka dots.
And then there was Sonam, who turned up looking like the boss that she is at the airport, in a hand woven pashmina wool dress and embroidered scarf from Pero, later that year.

Kangana was seen in a beautiful floral saree from Pero during the promotions of her film, Rangoon, last year. We love how she's carrying this pastel number off.
Sonam Kapoor's love for Pero clearly knows no bounds. It's no wonder that she even wore an outfit from Pero for her film PadMan, earlier this year.
What's the verdict? Do you think Sonam or Kangana wear Pero one better than the other? We think they both do complete justice to the outfits. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
