Karan Johar is living the dream. His production house just doled out Raazi which crossed the Rs.200 crore box office collection benchmark worldwide. And with Dhadak, Student Of The Year 2, and Kalank in the pipeline, he can surely expect more success at the box office. Oh, and his part in the Lust Stories anthology was widely well received. Not just at the work front, Karan is a blissful and happy father to his twin babies through surrogacy - Yash and Roohi. But when he isn't cooking up a storm in a coffee mug with his show Koffee With Karan, or judging some or the other reality show (or partaking in some movie promotion), the flamboyant, almost larger-than-life man is busy showing off his exquisite and vibrant wardrobe on social media.

There is something to be said about Karan Johar's clothes for sure - the man diligently follows the rule of "one-thing-in-the-look-pops-out". You know, the rule where one must try and keep only one statement piece in their look? That. Obviously, this isn't valid for Ranveer Singh, but you get the drift. For Karan Johar, it is his jackets. Karan not only has a great range of blazers to wear for the countless occasions he is a part of, but he also wears them in a way that makes sure he stands out. Mostly he is pairing a printed jacket with a single colour. And look how that works out for him.
At IIFA 2018, he was dressed to stand out of the crowd. In his Dolce & Gabbana suit, he was quite frankly #BoldInGold, as he pointed out himself.
And at IIFA Rocks, his Tom Ford suit made him all kinds of cute. Although pairing it with white may not have been the best call. A special mention for that bejewelled Gucci brooch.

How to make a work outfit fun? Add a printed jacket like KJo did at the IIFA Press Conference. That Gucci jacket is simple and a total win-win.
In this Gucci and JW Anderson outfit, he gave us major student of the year throwback feels. Guys, this is how you match a printed shirt with a solid jacket.

And in case you want to reverse the effect and wear a printed jacket with a monochromatic outfit, here is your clue. Masaba FTW!
We know how men are ever so cautious about wearing printed anything. But it is true that printed clothes are the easiest way to add some glamour to your outfit. And printed jackets are definitely a safe bet. Let's thank Karan Johar for showing us that. Men, do take note.
