Kareena Kapoor And Amrita Arora Wore Matching Outfits Again And It's Getting A Little Creepy

We love Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora. And their friendship, yes, it is 'goals' material. We love that too. It is, after all, rare to see friendships that last as long as theirs has, especially in an industry where most relationships seem fragile and very often superficial. Kareena and Amrita, along with their older sisters Karisma Kapoor and Malaika Arora, are often seen dining, shopping and holidaying together. This bunch seems pretty inseparable - and we think it's cute. But - yes, there is a but - Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora might have taken their obsession with twinning just one notch too high this time.

Just a few days ago we spotted Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora take off for Singapore, where Manish Malhotra's Summer Couture fashion show was being held. While it was cute to see Amrita accompany her bestie Kareena (who was the showstopper for Manish) on her quick work trip, their almost perfectly matching outfits on their way back from Singapore has us now labelling this twinning game just a bit creepy.

Both Kareena and Amrita were pictured at Mumbai airport on Monday with their hair up in top knots and oversized shades - perhaps to cover up any signs of fatigue one might have been able to notice post their flight? Their travel outfits consisted of ripped blue jeans, grey sweatshirts and sneakers. On the same day. At the same place. Knowingly. And here we thought it stopped being cool to do that after you hit puberty.

If you look close enough you'll realise they practically also walk the same way and have the same expression. Yes, we noticed, and we would be really confused about who's who if it wasn't for Amrita Arora's tinted glasses.

 

Their matching airport ensembles would have been allowed to pass with a casual comment had it not been for this picture from Singapore posted by Amrita - the two friends saunter down Orchard Road in similar jeans + trainers + sunglasses + designer bags.

Friendship and fashion goals, we said at the time. And this picture of them wearing metallic Manish Malhotra outfits also rang no alarm bells.

But dressing to match almost every time you are seen together in public is just a little bit OTT, especially when one of you is 40 and the other getting there. At least Kareena and Amrita's constant twinning proves that they truly are besties. And we're all for true friendships. Even if begins to border on creepy.
