Now Kareena Kapoor has always been a head turner but in the AT (that's After Taimur for you) era, that has increased manifold. Ms. Kapoor Khan turned up on set after a sabbatical and hit the gym with a vengeance. The result wasn't only a svelte new figure and Bollywood comeback, it also brought a renewed sense of style that's on-trend, sultry and plays on her darker side.
At a recent Veere Di Wedding promotion, we caught an eyeful of the star and her fantastic abs in a navy blue bandeau top with a suit. And though we thought it couldn't get any sexier than that, Kareena went ahead and proved us wrong. At last night's music launch of the film, the actress showed up in a jaw-dropping risqué look and we're still recovering from it.
Kareena wore a black bandeau and matched it with a sheer black pencil skirt which showed off her gams. Covering it all was a sheer black ankle-length cape. All of the separates were from Shehlaa by Shehla Khan and the entirely black ensemble was completed with Christian Louboutin pumps. To complement the sultry look, Kareena's hair was worn in large waves along with black smokey eyes and nude lips.
Now here's a look that pushes the boundaries just a little further and one that fit perfectly with Kareena's new personal style. With its exposed torso, sheer usage and black shade, it's also reminiscent of Kim and Khloe Kardashian fashion choices. The bandeau and separates pairing is familiar since her last promotional round but you know that if it isn't broken, don't fix it. Overall, it made for sexy, fun look that's goes well with the film's theme and the diamond jewellery and classic makeup only further helped pull it together. We can't possibly imagine what other promotional looks she has in store for us.
