The actress swears by yoga and her Instagram timeline proves that through and through. Come what may, Karishma always takes time out for a productive fitness session, and her Thursday was no different. Karishma's recent yoga session focused on flexibility. How do we know? The actress has dropped a couple of pictures from her yoga time and it deserves your immediate attention. In the photos, Karishma can be seen perfectly acing the Hanumanasana, which is called the monkey pose. However, the actress challenged herself by performing the stretching exercise in a slant position. Just like any other 180-degree stretch exercise the actress has spread her legs straight. But her left leg is on top of what looks like a leg press machine, while the other is on the floor. Apart from improving muscle strength, flexibility, agility, and endurance, the Hanumanasana is a brilliant way to lower blood pressure. It also reduces the risk of hip and leg injury. Sharing the pictures, Karishma Tanna wrote, “Strech strech baby.”

Before this, we spotted Karishma Tanna performing some aerial yoga. The actress dropped a picture and a clip, showing her giving a whirl to different asanas of the practice. The first picture shows Karishma nailing the inverted butterfly pose, wherein the person hangs upside down from the hammock, wrapped around the legs. This asana is amazing for better concentration, and longer attention span. In addition, it aids in stretching groins, inner thighs (adductors), outer hips and knees in the lower body. Next up, the clip showed Karishma giving a whirl to the swan pose. This pose is great for building strength in the arms and core while stretching the abdomen and arching the spine. In one of the videos, Karishma Tanna can be seen perfectly nailing the handstand. But there is a twist. Once again the actress challenged herself and performed this handstand on dumbbells. After all, this exercise targets the upper body strength and improves the balance. It is also a great way to improve flexibility and relieve stress. Along with the video, Karishma wrote, “Hard work pays off.”
