It has been a busy year for Keerthy Suresh, both personally and professionally. The star not only made her Bollywood debut with Baby John but also got married to her long-term boyfriend, Antony Thattil, in Goa in December 2024. The couple tied the knot in a traditional South Indian ceremony, followed by a Christian white wedding.

In an exclusive conversation with Galatta India, the star talked about how her father reacted to the white wedding. Keerthy said, “I asked my father, ‘Dads are supposed to walk the bride down the aisle; will you do that for me?' He replied, ‘Yeah, why not? We are doing both ways of the wedding; why not? Who else will walk you down? I was like, ‘Wow.' I never thought he would say okay to it, and I am really happy he did that for me.”
She also recalled her love story with Antony Thattil. Keerthy said, “It's a dream, literally. I can't even call it a dream because we have had nightmares of eloping. My heart was full, and it was a very emotional moment for us because we always wanted this. It's not like we started off very strongly."
"We started off dating when I was in 12th class, and he is seven years older than me. He was working, and we had a long-distance relationship for 5-6 years. I was in college, and he used to work in Qatar. He came back to India for good after 4 to 5 years. He set up his own business in Cochin, and now he is setting it up in Chennai, and he might do it in Dubai,” she concluded.
The couple kept their relationship private for over a decade and made it public back in November 2024.
