Death diving originated in Norway where the sport was called Dodsing. Dodsing is officially monitored by the Dodsing Federation, a committee that sets guidelines, rules and world rankings. Dodsing world championships have been held in August every year since 2008. There are training institutes and coaching available for training this sport.

The dangerous sport 'death diving'
Looking at the nerve-racking videos of the sport, it is believed that the sport is dangerous and harmful. But these divers don't have a death wish and instead, most of them are, in fact, professional-level athletes. The sport was created in Norway in the early 70s as a way for men to show off their skills and talent in front of girls, to impress but we reckon this must be done under the supervision of professionals and after proper training.
