After a whirlwind romance with rock star Travis Barker, we're a little teary with joy to see Kourtney Kardashian get the love she deserved. After months of mushy photos, red carpet appearances hand-in-hand and a romantic proposal surrounded by candles and roses, Kourtney and Travis are finally Mr. and Mrs. Barker. The couple tied the knot at a destination wedding held in Portofino, Italy where only close family and friends were present. And from a wedding like this, you wouldn't expect a basic bridal look, now would you?

Travis wore a black tuxedo with a black bow tie and matching dress shoes, keeping it streamlined as a classic groom's look. Kourtney's wedding dress was however, much more unconventional. The celebrity wore a white mini dress by Dolce & Gabbana which had thick straps and a dipped neckline. It was paired with fingerless gloves and matching pointed pumps. The highlight of her bridal look was definitely her veil though. Flowing behind her, the veil featured detailing of an image of Virgin Mary over it.
Designer of Kourtney Kardashian's wedding dress, Dolce & Gabbana spoke about the bridal look in their Instagram caption, saying, "@kourtneykardash's #DolceGabbana veil featured a depiction of the Virgin Mary. The religious iconography, based on one of @travisbarker's tattoos, was accompanied by the text of "Family Loyalty Respect." The bride wore a custom #DGAltaModa lace and satin corset mini dress inspired by archival Italian lingerie." It's definitely one for the record books as a statement-making wedding look.
