Even if you've been living under a rock, you will know Kylie Jenner. She's just that popular, especially with millennials. At 20 years of age, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters already has plenty of titles to her name. Most notably, she has her own makeup brand Kylie Cosmetics which launched in 2015 and whose popular lip kits sold out in under a minute. She has been a reality television star since she was 10 with regular appearances in her family's television shows Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Kourtney And Khloe as well as her own show Life of Kylie since 2017. She has also collaborated with brands like Nip + Fab, Quay and Puma while releasing her own product lines with Topshop, OPI and Steve Madden amongst many others. With over 100 million followers on Instagram, Kylie has also featured on TIME magazine's most influential teens list numerous times and is one of the top 10 most followed people on Instagram.

As of last night, Kylie added a new title to her list. Clad in a black blazer with a neat bun and full brown lips, Kylie is the cover girl of Forbes magazine's August 2018 issue which calls her the youngest person on the fourth annual ranking of America's Richest Self-Made Women. With earnings from her cosmetic company and endorsements, Kylie is worth $900 million. They predict that another year of growth will make her the youngest self-made billionaire ever, to fly past Mark Zuckerberg who became a billionaire at 23.

While it's always a glorious moment to see a woman entrepreneur reach incredible heights, what has really ticked off the world is the word 'self-made'. While her famous family continued to repost the magazine cover, the internet was flummoxed at how the title which meant starting from scratch could be applied to Kylie's success. In usual fashion, Twitter blew up with responses.

There are some saying it like it is.

Others are wondering how fair it is.

Still others are giving credit where it's due while stating the facts.

And finally, there was Dictionary.com serving a tall glass of shade.

It's surely some food for thought the next time you pick up one of her newly launched lip kits.
