Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth put the rumours to rest and announced the news of their engagement on Thursday in an Instagram post. The picture showed Aditi and Siddharth looking at the camera with their hands displayed prominently, while wearing engagement rings. Sharing the picture, Aditi Rao Hydari wrote, “He said yes! E. N. G. A. G. E. D.” While Siddharth too shared the same photo on his Instagram profile with the caption stating, "She Said YES!”, it's heartening to see that proposals aren't necessarily thrust on the male partner in the relationship. Proposals and the decision to marry don't always have to be a one-sided affair. They can be a joint discussion between both parties or even initiated by female partners. After all, relationships are a bond between equals and big decisions like marriage can come from both or either way.
