Now, the actress seems to have adopted another well-being habit. In her latest Instagram story, Shilpa was seen practicing sound healing therapy with healing practitioner Amit Eknath. Well, if you are new to the term, let us elaborate on it for you. Sound Healing is a powerful therapy that weaves various forms of healing sounds, music and special sound effects from musical instruments that enhance our multidimensional well-being. Our body, mind, soul, and spirit are awakened gently through the procedure. In the picture, Shilpa shared the same frame with Amit Eknath, both flashing smiles for the camera. Displayed in front of them were two bowls and mallets, which are the primary tools used for sound healing. "Loved it," wrote Shilpa in the photo, emphasising the experience.

In a separate post by Amit Eknath on Instagram, the well-being practitioner highlighted the benefits of sound healing. He said, “Sound healing offers various benefits, including reduced stress and anxiety by promoting relaxation and mental clarity. It can enhance sleep quality and aid in managing pain through soothing vibrations. The practice improves focus and concentration, fostering a sense of balance and well-being. Sound healing also supports emotional release and resilience, facilitating deeper self-awareness. Overall, it nurtures holistic health by harmonizing mind, body, and spirit.”

During a sound healing session or sound bath, instruments that are used include gongs, drums, tuning forks, and Tibetan and crystal singing bowls. The vibrations that emanate from the instruments designed for sound healing penetrate deep into your tissue. This enhances metabolism and blood flow, relieves muscle tension and stimulates the tissue. What's more, the mechanisms for regeneration and repair are activated with this technique. Cells compress and relax periodically due to the resonance or oscillation of molecules brought on by sound waves. Sound healing is also a form of massage treatment.
