Shilpa Shetty is having the best time of her life. After her pilgrimage to Kedarnath, a fun-filled trip to Dubai and a birthday vacation in London, the actress has once again packed her bags. This time Shilpa has unleashed her adventurous side at a breathtaking spot. Shilpa recently embarked on truffle hunting at Castelfalfi, a village in Italy's Tuscany. The actress shared glimpses of her thrilling experience on Instagram. Guess who accompanied her on this fun activity? A “truffle master” and his cute furry friend, “truffle detector” Bianca. After walking for some time, Bianca helped Shilpa to find the right spot, and they began digging. Finally, Shilpa was successful in digging out a big truffle. The video shows the actress cleaning the soil layered on it. Before showing the heart-shaped truffle to the camera, Shilpa takes a sniff and is totally mesmerized by it. The clip concluded with Shilpa sharing a glimpse at the dish prepared using the truffle. Along with the video, Shilpa wrote, “A delicious adventure off my bucket list. Thank you Castelfalfi for making this such a wonderful experience. From the picturesque view, the food, the activities- everything was on point!”

• This thrilling activity is widely dependent on the particular season when truffles are available in the Tuscan woodland. Every guest is accompanied by a truffle hunter and an experienced canine when they embark on the hunt.

• The official UNESCO page states that truffle hunting and extraction is a set of knowledge and practices that have been transmitted verbally for centuries. This is yet another reason, why one must definitely give a whirl to this activity.
