Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frederic for Louis Vuitton at Saint Tropez

Luxury Brand, Louis Vuitton, has made its mark in the fashion world but few know that the brand has lent its name to two successful restaurants. At its Saint-Tropez restaurant at the White 1921 Hotel in France, Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frederic are taking charge. While Arnaud Donckele is a Michelin-starred chef, Frederic is a pastry chef. According to LVMH, the two are exploring the relaxed and casual style of the Riviera with a summer menu and welcoming decor displaying a laidback spirit. The duo are also "committed to sourcing high-quality seasonal ingredients from local producers and value artisanal excellence and exceptional raw materials, both of which figure at the heart of Louis Vuitton's DNA."

The Mediterranean restaurant is situated on the terrace of the White 1921 Hotel. Its location, upon Place de Lices in the heart of Saint Tropez, is in line with upscale boutiques, plush bistros and fine dines. On certain days of the week, there is also a Provencal market in the locality, which sells everything from baguettes to antiques to beachwear. The menu focuses on Mediterranean flavours served in an elegant decor inspired by the world of Louis Vuitton. The blue and white tile patterns are featured in Maison's 'By The Pool' resort collection. The pastel colour palette that contrasts with the blue colour, adds a chic twist to the setup. The LV-inspired ambience of the restaurant is enhanced by the wooden decor, wicker chairs, floating lanterns, and floral wall patterns.

Diners can explore unspoiled produce and sun-drenched textures from the expanse of Mediterranean cuisine, including truffle-stuffed Italian pasta, shrimp tartar and Moroccan-spiced lamb chops. The streamlined menu celebrates the finest products from the entire region like the Camargue rice, fish from small, local, and ecofriendly fishing habitats, and vegetables grown by Provencal market gardeners. Guests at the White 1921 Hotel can also enjoy a sweet snack, ranging from chocolate bars and a tarte tropezienne to refreshing sorbets or the Dolce Vita ice cream selection.
