Everywhere you look, there's Uorfi Javed. The celebrity started out as a TV actress but has come into her own with her personal style and has DIY-ed her way into the celebrity sphere with custom ensembles. Her journey to where she is currently has been all her and thus, well-appreciated, so it's exciting to see her today; a celebrity fashionista who still dabbles in DIY style on Instagram. From starring in music videos to sporting India's top designer names, Uorfi has made it.

However, it seems that now and again, things can get rocky even for a celebrity like herself. For no real rhyme or reason, that too. The Global Excellence Awards 2023 took place recently and on an Instagram post featuring Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit at the event, Uorfi had something to say. In her comment, she stated that she was first invited to the event and once she had made all the arrangements, her team was informed that she had been uninvited. Why? "They said I'm not on Madhuri's guest list", is what Uorfi states.

Uninviting anybody who has been previously invited goes against basic etiquette and social protocol, so if this was the case, it's sad to see Uorfi at the receiving end of it. We, for one, would be thrilled if the It girl turned up to an event we're at.
