Right from bright and beautiful sarees to lehengas and three-piece contemporary outfits, there's so much that you can explore. Sonam Kapoor's festive excuse to dress up for the Makar Sankranti puja at her home. She made heads turn in a printed anarkali suit from fashion designer Gaurang Shah. Sonam's purple Anarkali kurta featured heavy borders in the contrasting shade of orange. She wore it with purple churidar salwar and a dupatta showcasing white prints and orange borders. For accessories, Sonam added traditional golden dangler earrings. For makeup, the actress opted for defined brows, contoured cheeks, kohl-rimmed eyes, and glossy mauve lips. Sonam stayed loyal to a middle-parted bun with crown braids.

Sometimes, a fusion outfit for a festive occasion is all the solution one needs. The diva gave out regal vibes in this stunning ensemble straight from the shelves of fashion's very own fusion fashion queen, Anamika Khanna. The jaw-dropping off-white kurta showed floral gold thread embroidery and sequin work. There were heavy gota-patti adornments on the asymmetrical border of her kurta. The actress matched it with wide-legged bottoms in the same colour. That unique shawl-style cape on her shoulders uplifted her overall look. Sonam accessorised with gold jhumkas, maang tika and bangles. She wore kohl-rimmed eyes, shimmery golden eyeshadow, mascara-laden eyelashes, and nude shimmery lip shade.

Let us agree, ethnic outfits are special in every sense. Sonam Kapoor, in this attire, stands as a testament to this fact. The gorgeous handwoven jamdani anarkali, by Gaurang Shah, featured golden prints and hand embroidered kota dupatta. The intricate design running across the number added the much-needed charm. All she needed was a pair of dangler earrings and a black bindi to round off her look. The signature bun adorned with gajra gave it an ethnic touch.

A pop of colour can do wonders for an otherwise muted outfit. Showing how it is done is none other than Sonam Kapoor in this beautiful ensemble. For Diwali, she dazzled in a hand-sewn ghagra-choli set from the shelves of re-ceremonial. Sonam's gulab ghagra had more than 50 kalis, eco-printed individually with rose leaves. To add some colour, Sonam added a beautiful gulal zari dupatta on top. She completed the ethnic look with traditional juttis. Her smoky eyes and glossy lips were in proper sync with her hairstyle. Don't miss those pretty chain earrings.  

For Karwa Chauth, Sonam Kapoor rocked a tussar kantha embroidery ghagra with a Kanjeevaram border and organza badla dupatta. The combination of pink and green worked like magic. If you are also planning to dress up for a wedding or festival, go for something heavily bordered as Sonam in this ensemble. She added dangler earrings and minimal makeup to seal the look. Her lustrous hair was left open.

Sonam Kapoor's ethnic looks are the best and no one can deny that.
