When it comes to festive dressing, less is not more; more is more. That's practically Malaika Arora's fashion motto, especially during this time of merriment. The celebrity sphere has been buzzing with traditional wear ensembles like decadent salwar kameez suits and sequin sarees taking precedence over all. However it's Malaika latest look that showed us how to work festive fashion magic with a fusion spin. For a Diwali themed shoot, the star wore a Tarun Tahiliani ensemble with a pleated drape around the waist which was complemented majestically with an embellished jacket. Adding to the sheer opulence of the look was a necklace, bangles, matha patti and ring from Abhilasha Pret Jewelry, Apala by Sumit and Amama. Gold heels added the final touch to the glimmering outfit. When it comes to a generous dose of glitter, Malaika reigns supreme.

Another one from Malaika's Diwali style files saw her wearing an Anamika Khanna lehenga of a flowing red skirt, designed blouse and matching patterned drape. A matha patti and flowers in her bun hairstyle added grace to the look.

Of course she had to feature in the hottest festive trend of the season which was the sequin saree. She sported an ombre gold Manish Malhotra number with a metallic blouse and her hair in loose waves.
She also made sure she looked, not just like a ray of sunshine but the sun itself when she donned a Tarun Tahiliani embellished lehenga in bright yellow with a draped blouse that went over the shoulder.
