Malaika Arora moves towards a fabulously fit weekend ahead

Come what may, Malaika Arora always takes time for a productive fitness session. The B-town diva swears by yoga and that can't be stressed enough. Her healthy lifestyle makes her a force to reckon with in the fitness world. Once again Malaika channelled her inner fitness enthusiast and gave us a sneak peek into her Wednesday yoga session. After all, she is a firm believer that "yoga is not just a workout. It's a way of life” for her. This time she executed the vinyasa flow asana with the ease of an expert. With her legs apart and arms up in the air, Malaika stretched her body and performed a deep squat. It was followed by a handstand plank pushup. She then moved on to show us how to nail the Mountain Climbers exercise effortlessly. Semi-squats with hands raised above came in the next line of the workout, coupled with a few more stretching steps before Malaika returned to her plank position.

We are up for any tips that Malaika Arora has to offer hoping to achieve fitness levels like hers. Earlier, she dropped a video on Instagram instructing her followers to start “the week off with some fun cardio”. For motivation, the diva had a “dose of Casper's (pet dog) energy”. Her workout itinerary began with 100 skips on a rope, followed by 50 jumping jacks, 30 pop squats, and mountain climbers, and finally 20 Russian twists and inouts. Dressed in a lime-yellow athleisure, Malaika executed every workout seamlessly. Need any more reasons why she looks this fabulous?

Malaika Arora's yoga trainer Sarvesh Shashi offered a glimpse of his client's special breathing technique, Anulom Vilom pranayama in a previous Instagram Stories post. Don't go by the bizarre name, this archaic breathing method is well-known for boosting mental well-being and physical health. To perform this exercise you have to breathe in from one nostril while gently pressing the other with your hand. Repeat the same process with your other nostril and vice versa a few times. It is believed that Anulom Vilom pranayama helps in creating harmony between an individual's mind, body, and spirit.
