It is either super basic or high-fashion, there is no in-between for Malavika Mohanan in question. It is only a few days in the New Year and Malavika chooses the latter already. One would imagine her to go the high-fashion route in flashy sequins and bright colours. Instead, she picks drama in black and cutouts and a welcome new addition with her hairstyle. In a very anime-inspired series of images Malavika Mohanan looks extremely fierce in her all-black outfit. Her black lace-up skirt with a slit on the side is fabulously paired with a long asymmetric sleeveless top with cutouts on the side and on the deep plunging neckline. The long boots are the perfect addition for this outfit to let her walk all over us.

As much as we love the outfit though, as we do all, her hairstyle is what hit the mark for us. Her long dark layered locks with the poker straight bangs look so fabulous; we almost thought we were watching one of our favourite anime shows come to life. Minimal makeup with just a winged eyeliner, shimmery copper lids and a nude matte makes us wonder why we don't have anime shows in India. Guess Malavika Mohanan can trailblaze into starting one.

Malavika Mohanan can transform into anything she likes without the excuse of the Halloween season. Mermaid vibes were brought to us by Malavika Mohanan and it only took her one cutout yellow dress to achieve that. Her cascading long locks this time take a wavy turn to give life to the mermaid in her.
We're just wondering, what's there not to love about Malavika Mohanan? Nothing, we suppose.
