Remember when pantsuits were the trend du jour at the start of the year? Celebrities ranging from Jessica Alba and Bella Hadid to Huma Qureshi and Parineeti Chopra sported the look all through summer. While they all gave it their own take with relaxed fits and pops of colour, its essence remained the same.
From the looks of Mandana Karim's latest outfit, the trend isn't going anywhere, only getting a twist. We may not have seen Mandana onscreen in the past couple of years, but that hasn't stopped her from looking her stylish best. For an event over the weekend, Mandana was snapped in a unique take on the pantsuit trend with a short suit. The celebrity wore a white crop top under an oversized white blazer which she cuffed at the elbows along with white high waist shorts.

Her outfit was cleanly paired with a pair of matching white sneakers and a Louis Vuitton baguette style bag under her arm. Mandana wore her short curls swept to one side with pink lipstick. Jewellery was kept minimal with a gold watch, dainty necklace and hoop earrings to finish off the look.

There's so much to love about Mandana's interesting new look. This summer, the pantsuit reached its peak and saturation began to set in shortly after. Mandana's short suit borrows its essence but thankfully, isn't done to death yet. It's still fresh and fun so we're sure we'll be seeing a lot more of this. If you've ever found the pantsuit too stuffy for the Indian climate, that's where the shorts suit wins. The shorts allow for much needed ventilation and in Mandana's case, the outfit can even show a sliver of skin if needed. It's just what the stylist ordered for this sweltering season.
