"Marriage Is Just A Piece Of Paper": Arjun Rampal On His Relationship Status With Girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades

Actor Arjun Rampal has been in a relationship with model Gabriella Demetriades since 2019. The couple are also parents to two sons, Arik and Ariv. The duo have not taken the conventional path and gotten married as yet. In a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, the Om Shanti Om actor revealed details about his personal life including his take on the relationship and the reason he has not gotten married to girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades. 

Talking about the same, the actor said “It's not me, It's not her, what is marriage? It's just a piece of paper. I think we are already married and there is no doubt about it in my mind. But what sometimes that piece of paper can also do is change you. Because it's like you think it's permanent, it's a false notion of that but you are just legally bound in a way but it could change your attitude towards each other”.

Adding further, he said, “I think that's how we both feel, we feel like it's so organic whatever has happened between us and touchwood I don't want to jinx too much about it, actually that's why I am a personal person because I believe in nazar and I believe that sometimes evil eye does come and affect it”. He also further said that he doesn't need to justify their reason for not getting married to anyone, but both feel that what they have is beautiful and, in their minds, both are married to each other. He also stated how both push each other in the right direction and how they are always motivating each other.  

Arjun did mention that he is not going against the institution of marriage, “I think it's a beautiful thing, maybe we will get married. You never know.” He stated further that he is very happy in his life with Gabriella by his side as they are blessed with two beautiful boys, and his daughters and ex-wife Mehr gets along with Gabriella very nicely.  

Arjun was previously married to Mehr Jesia and they co-parent two daughters Myra and Mahikaa.
