In wedding photos posted by the actress on Instagram, Mawra Hocane is seen at the heart of her celebrations, poised in a breathtaking lehenga choli, which was a refreshing break from the celebrity bridal silhouettes of the recent past.
Her ensemble, a pleasant shade of mint green, shimmered with intricate embroidery in a variety of shades. The skirt, voluminous with an flared fit, had a broad panel at its base with patch-work in purple and red followed by a border of gold embroidery. The choli was a masterpiece of fine craftsmanship featuring scalloped detailing and gold embroidery with pink piping. The blouse, short-sleeved and modestly fitting her frame, accentuating her graceful silhouette. Mawra's look was completed with a sheer mint green dupatta, embroidered with motifs of roses and paisleys, that draped elegantly over her head and shoulders and had a scalloped border.
Her jewellery was as regal as her attire comprising of a dainty maang tikka, a head accessory at the side, matching green earrings and a multi-layered necklace and wrists full of bangles, which caught the light with every movement.
Her makeup was understated yet radiant, with soft hues of pink and gold on her lids, lips tinted in a soft rose shade and brushed back brows. Her hair, styled in a neat updo, elevated the regal charm she exuded.
The man of the hour, Ameer Gilani, let his bride steal the style spotlight by opting for an understand wedding look. He wore an entirely black kurta and pant set with a sleeveless vest and stole in the same shade.
