Only a few days after the Royal Wedding and all the excitement that preceded and succeeded it, The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has made her first formal appearance. Meghan Markle's first post-wedding public appearance came on the occasion of Prince Charles's 70th birthday celebrations at Buckingham Palace. After her last two appearances in white (at her wedding, obviously, and also at the wedding reception that followed), Meghan Markle chose a nude or light blush number for the garden party held in honor of Prince Charles. Safe to say, Meghan's first appearance as The Duchess of Sussex alongside her husband, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, was a suitably formal one.

For the occasion, The Duchess opted for a custom made Flavia dress from British clothing brand, Goat. Her dress featured a round neckline and sheer panels along the collarbone region and the sleeves. Meghan opted for a hat from Philip Treacy, a silk clutch and pair of nude stilettos to match her tonal outfit. Her hair up in a bun and her soft pink makeup complimented her look perfectly.

This chic, straight, formal look is almost like a return to tradition and duty after the glamorous Hollywood-esque white Stella McCartney gown we saw Meghan wear for her wedding reception.

Either way, Meghan Markle looks stunning. And the man walking next to her, a.k.a her husband, a.k.a Prince Harry, looks pretty dapper himself.
