The Met Gala 2021 was punctuated by many definitive moments, from messages to take note of on Cara Delavigne to striking monochrome ensembles on Kim Kardashian. But because black and white were predominantly spotted on the red carpet doesn't mean celebrities couldn't play with colour. The likes of Dan Levy, Naomi Osaka and more chose to give their sartorial choices a punchy touch that turned heads all the way around. Let's take a look now, shall we?

Hyderabad-based philanthropist and wife of billionaire Megha Krishna Reddy, Sudha Reddy was the Indian celebrity at the Met Gala 2021. She showcased an amalgamation of cultures when she donned a glitzy ensemble by Indian designers Falguni Shane Peacock which was decked with stars and stripes in line with the theme.

Irina Shayk gave a whole new meaning to the naked dress trend when she wore a nude toned Moschino dress with a high slit and strategically placed colourful flowers.

Dan Levy made a powerful LGBTQ+ statement in a Loewe ensemble. It featured billowy sleeves, embellished boots and patterns of a map with men sharing a kiss over the front.
