If there's someone who has been setting trends for effortless maternity style, it is second time mom-to-be Mira Rajput. A look at her and it's evident that she has mastered the tricks of looking chic while staying as comfortable as she can be when pregnant. Mira and husband Shahid Kapoor are expecting their second baby sometime in September. Until D-day arrives, Mira has been making the most of her time by heading out for date nights with her husband, pampering her daughter Misha Kapoor, hanging out with friends, looking stylish and turning the whole pregnancy affair into a no big deal.
Mira Rajput's maternity wardrobe has definitely been on point. While during summer we saw her making chic style statements in light and breezy dresses, for monsoon she seems to be particularly in love with monochromes in warmer hues. We recently spotted her in Mumbai, post an evening out with her friends, looking beautiful in an peppy olive top that she teamed with a pair of skinny jeans! She accessorised it with a Christian Louboutin tote with quirky doodles and a pair of metallic silver slip-on sandals.

Last Sunday, a baby shower for Mira Rajput was hosted at Shahid and Mira's Mumbai home. From all the posts on Instagram, it surely seemed like a fun celebration with close friends. Mira's pregnancy glow was hard to miss and she looked radiant in a white and black polka dotted dress by Zimmermann. The midi-dress had adorable ruffle detail, and Mira teamed it with a pair of black sandals and diamond studs. In her signature style, she kept it easy and fuss free yet chic.
During an evening out with her husband last week, Mira picked a colour that always works wonders when it comes to dressing up - red. She looked classy in a full-sleeved red top, which she teamed with a pair of mauve trousers and metallic, pointed-toe flats. Even in her no makeup getup, she looked monsoon perfect.
Mira Rajput is definitely proving that getting pregnancy style right is not about glamming up but also staying casual and chic.
