A royal persona, a phone geek and a gorgeous fashionista — actress Mouni Roy is all of this rolled into one. The actress has effortlessly pulled off stunning looks in some regal costumes on the set of her upcoming project. In her first look, Mouni is seen in a bright red ghagra choli that is intricately woven and embroidered with golden threads. Since a regal look is unthinkable without a proper set of jewellery, Mouni has chosen plenty of them: a choker, bangles and bracelets, many intricate rings on her fingers, a golden waistband or Kamar bandh, an armlet and maang tika. She has heavy makeup on her eyes and a rosy tint on her lips. Her hands are painted red to show marks of aalta while her hair is tied back in a long braid.

Her second look is a bit more sensuous as she reclines in a white attire with shimmery zari-work. This time, she has fewer jewellery pieces on her: golden bangles and rings, a simple maang-tika and a golden nose ring with a slim chain running all the way up to her ears. Her makeup is royal with tones of bronze and red, and she completes the look by putting on a tiny bindi. Her hair is left loose. In another photo, she was seen trying on a pearly nose ring.

No matter how mysterious and royal her looks are, Mouni hasn't stopped sharing playful behind-the-scenes moments. In an earlier post, the actress revealed that the red colour on her hands was not aalta but strokes from a red marker pen. There she is seen painting someone's hands with the marker.

Unlike many of us, Mouni carries traditional clothing and jewellery with enviable ease. We are all the more bedazzled when she shows us her looks in a transformation video where she swapped from a black dress into a peppy pink lehenga.

She pulls off elaborate ensembles as well as she does the simple printed cotton kurta and sharara.

Here's another clip where Mouni flaunts a traditional mirror-work blouse with a heavy necklace and big dangler earrings.
