Lauded as one of the biggest fashion extravaganzas, the Met Gala saw an array of celebrities walking by as they made a statement with their wearable art. This year's theme paid tribute to late designer Karl Lagerfeld. We have seen endless Hollywood celebrities championing the theme but this year's Gala had supremely special moments for Indian celebrities too. That's the cas from Alia Bhatt making her debut in a Prabal Gurung pearl embellished number to Priyanka Chopra strutting in a fabulous outfit. Natasha Poonawalla too has pulled out all stops when it comes to her wearable art. Basic is not a word in her vocabulary when dressing for an event as glam as the Met Gala. She has a penchant for dramatic outfits and yet again she truly blew us away when she dressed up in a silver metallic dress by Schiaparelli.
She brought the right kind of glamour galore to the Met 2023 in a stunning structured bodycon dress that featured embellished work all over it. What really added an edge to her look were the elongated, dramatic sharp ear-like edges of the dress, that looked like a cat's ear, to pay tribute to Karl's cat, Choupette. Her Met outfit had an absolutely futuristic approach with the structured silhouette and the edgy borders.
Coming to her hairstyle, it was well-defined sleek one in a form of a low ponytail with a silver hanging detail over it that added a finishing edge to the look. Natasha yet again made a case as she proved that she truly is a Met Gala veteran.
