The Olympic gold medallist shared the news of his arrival by sharing a set of pictures and videos on Instagram. Ahead of the big sporting event, Neeraj Chopra seems to have given special attention to his fitness. Being an athlete, staying fit and healthy is a priority for him. Following the mantra, he was seen devoting his time to warm-up practices. In the last slide of the social media post, Neeraj performed a ladder drill, which is a type of high-intensity interval training. Facing forward, he took cautious and quick steps to move along the small squares of the ladder, reaching in and out of every box with absolute finesse. It is a great way to improve speed and balance. Ladder drills might be a pre-workout activity but the physical training comes with a lot of benefits. It is a great way to burn those extra calories, and keeps you mentally active.

Previously, Neeraj Chopra offered his fans a glimpse into his arduous exercises on Instagram. In the post, he executed lat pulldowns and weighted push-ups. “Training your body, mind, and soul feels good. Doing it for your country feels even better,” read his caption. Lat pulldowns are beneficial in strengthening your upper body, improving your posture and enhancing grip strength. As for weighted push-ups, this form of exercise caters to enhanced muscle engagement and growth, improved core stability, and increased cardiovascular health.
In another sneak peek of his practice sessions, Neeraj Chopra pulled off a series of hurdle drills. The workout builds muscle strength and improves bone flexibility and body coordination. Hurdle drills are also good for rapid weight loss.
