Just a couple of days have passed since Kim and Kanye's new tot joined the Kardashian-West brood but already, the little girl is gaining serious celebrity status. The baby was born to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West - their third child after daughter North and son Saint - through a surrogate on January 15, 2018 and besides the fact that she weighed a little more than seven pounds when born, not much else is known. However, the press and the public want more than just stats; pictures would be nice. TMZ has reported that deals ranging from $1 million to a whopping $5 million for the baby's first pictures have been straight up rejected by the celebrity couple, as it would "violate their morals." Foremost on both their minds is the safety of the new addition to the family and only once she is secured and comfortable would they even think about the release of her pictures. A baby's health and safety would be primary concern for any new parents, even more so for Kim and Kanye after the reality TV mogul was robbed at gun-point in October 2016.

Post the incident, Kim's millions of followers on social media saw her blackout her channels for the next few months until she felt safe to get back to regular celebrity living. Even then, Kim Kardashian has had her guard up about the content she posts. The new parents opted for surrogacy the third time round as Kimreportedly suffers from placenta accreta, a medical condition which can make pregnancy difficult and even dangerous. Throughout the pregnancy term of their surrogate, whose identity has been kept tightly under wraps, Kim and Kanye reportedly ensured her utmost safety by selecting round-the-clock security measures which worked up to almost $1.5 million. The first pictures of both their older children, North and Saint, were revealed around two months after their births. Kanye revealed daughter North's first photo on her mother Kris Jenner's talk show, Kris, while Kim revealed Saint's on her app on her father's birthday in February 2016.
While Bollywood turns to social media to share baby pictures, international celebrities sign photograph release deals with magazines and websites to rake in millions of dollars. In 2008, Jennifer Lopez appeared on the March cover of People magazine with the first picture of her twins Maximilian David and Emme Maribel Muniz, for a deal reportedly worth $6 million. In the same year, Jessica Alba covered the July issue of OK! Magazine with her first born, Honor Marie Warren, for $1.5 million. However, then-couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt beat them all by exclusively tying up with People and Hello! magazines to photograph their brood and newborn twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt, for an astounding $14 million. It is one of the highest payouts for baby pictures till date and was donated to the Jolie-Pitt foundation.
As for the Kardashian-West clan, safety first seems to be their motto and we probably won't get a glimpse of their third born just yet. It looks like this wait is going to be a little longer then.
