Actress Kate Winslet is known for her stunning looks off the screen and her powerful performances on it. Recently, the Lee actress talked about body positivity and ageing naturally. In an exclusive interview with Harper Bazaar UK, Kate revealed her life learnings. She said, “There are several things I have learnt and that is number one, women get more beautiful as they get older for sure because our faces become more a part of who we are. They sit better on our bone structure, they have more life, they have more history.” She further continued, “Things I find incredibly beautiful are wrinkles, around the eyes, the back of hands. I think those things are very beautiful.”

She also talked about her other important learning, that is to take care of oneself. “I have also learnt to take care of yourself from the inside; not just what you eat, and how you look after yourself from a nutritional standpoint. But how you look after yourself from a mental wellness standpoint. How you feel about yourself emotionally, physically, your place within the world, how you walk through the world, how you live with integrity and sincerity. I think those things matter and those things do come out in how we look and subsequently of course how we feel.”

She added, “Beauty is really a feeling. I don't think it's a thing we look at.” Kate also opened up about the best beauty advice she received from her mom. “She said to me, darling never pluck your eyebrows, just don't do it and I never have.”

Kate Winslet's learnings are a clear sign that ageing is beautiful, and we should embrace it.
