Angelina Jolie's Matching Tattoo With Her Daughter Vivienne Is Pure Mother-Daughter Goals

Angelina Jolie shares a lovely bond with her kids. The Hollywood icon has often talked fondly about her equation with her children in several interviews. Recently, she revealed getting the permanent ink impressions while working with her daughter, Vivienne on the Broadway musical The Outsiders. “Stay Gold” are the inked words written on Angeline Jolie's forearm. The phrase refers to an original song featured in The Outsiders play that the actress co-produced while her teen daughter worked as her assistant. Elaborating on the topic, the Academy Award-winner said, “I got ‘Stay Gold' with my daughter Viv during our time with The Outsiders. It means so much to us separately and together,” in an interview with CR Fashion Book. Angelina Jolie disclosed that she also shares a matching bird tattoo with some of her children which was something “personal”. In the same conversation, Angelina Jolie shared that “the moment you become a parent you are never first again. Your life is for another.” She called it a “beautiful feeling”.

Not just her own children, Angelina Jolie was also very close to her late mother Marcheline Bertrand too. On her 73rd birth anniversary last year, the actress wrote a long note on Instagram, highlighting how her mother died in 2007 “after a long struggle with breast and ovarian cancer”. Angelina Jolie also disclosed how her mother became her strength after she lost her to the medical ailment. “My mom loved [Jimmy] Hendrix. And would always sign her letters Kiss the Sky. It took on new meaning after she passed. Sending my love to those who have also lost loved ones and strength to those who are fighting at this very moment for their lives and the lives of those they love,” read a part of the long caption.
