On Goal-Setting And Success In Bollywood, Kriti Sanon Says, "I'm Incredibly Ambitious. I Have Numerous Dreams Ahead"

Kriti Sanon is a woman who wears many hats. The actress has already carved a niche for herself in Bollywood. Her impeccable performance in Netflix's Mimi earned her the prestigious IIFA Award. Not just that; she has slowly but surely climbed the ladder of success and launched her skincare line Hyphen last year. In 2023, she also started her own production firm Blue Butterfly Films. The first film expected to release under the banner is Do Patti, features Kriti herself, alongside Kajol, Shaheer Sheikh and Tanvi Azmi. Although she is basking in the glory of her achievements, Kriti has only one goal in mind: To strive for better.

For a cover story shoot with  Filmfare, Kriti Sanon spoke about various aspects of her life, including her profession, personal goals, and ambitions. When she was asked whether there were any more objectives left for her to achieve, Kriti displayed her never-stopping mentality. She expressed the desire to explore her full potential by accepting more “ground-breaking projects”. 

“I'm incredibly ambitious. I have numerous dreams still ahead of me. As soon as one dream is achieved, I'm already envisioning the next goal. I'm constantly driven to accomplish more, to discover something that propels me to new heights, and to surprise both myself and my audiences with ground-breaking projects. Perhaps doing a film in Hollywood is my next goal. But it must be meaningful and truly excite me. I have many aspirations because I sense there's still so much left to achieve. I believe I've only tapped into about 60 percent of my potential,” she said. 

Previously, in an interaction with ETimes, Kriti Sanon opened up about how her performance in Bareilly Ki Barfi helped her to get recognised as an actress. “I have always been ambitious. I am not easily satisfied and so that kept me going. With Bareilly Ki Barfi, people opened up to the actor in me. That's exactly what I was craving for,” she said.
