Parineeti Chopra celebrated one whole year of being married to Raghav Chadha today. The couple tied the knot on September 24, 2023, in a close-knit wedding in Udaipur. On this special occasion, we can't help but throw it back to the time she looked like a beautiful minimal chic bride. "Very demure, very mindful" even before it was a thing. Parineeti's wedding ensemble was crafted by designer Manish Malhotra. With the wedding season, what better excuse than the wedding of some of our favourite celebrities, to draw inspiration for the big day no matter the aesthetic?

All the anniversary love makes us want to revisit how gracefully Parineeti Chopra had carried off her "ivory is the new red" bridal moment in a handcrafted lehenga and jewels from the shelves of India's ace designer Manish Malhotra. Parineeti exuded royalty in the exquisite designer lehenga that took 2,500 hours to bring to life. The beautiful material of the lehenga was adorned with handwork embroidery that had vintage gold threadwork at play in a geometric pattern. The floor-sweeping lehenga laden with nakshi and metal sequins lent a touch of elegance to it that worked in perfect symphony with the delicate mesh blouse and a tulle framework dupatta which were both embellished with precious white pearls. To top this, a personalised element was added to the tulle veil that featured Raghav's name in Devnagari script on it. This was created with badla work artistry that was a symbol deep-rooted in love.
Parineeti's accessories for her bid wedding day included a multi-tiered necklace that featured uncut Zambian and Russian emeralds in an antique finish. It was teamed with diamond and emerald set earrings in gold, an emerald encrusted maang teeka, and a haath phool with uncut diamonds and Russian emeralds to add a final touch of elegance to the bridal look. The jewellery too was by ace couturier Manish Malhotra.
Parineeti's hair and makeup for her wedding day included centre-parted sleek open hair worn behind her shoulders. On the makeup front, she was the "less is more bride" wearing her radiant bridal glow, defined brows, a wash of brown eyeshadow on her eyelids with winged eyeliner, fluttery lashes, a hint of bronze-toned blush on her cheeks to add colour, and a nude lip colour to add the perfect finishing touch to her bridal look.
Parineeti Chopra's ivory bridal moment was a masterclass on how to keep things regal and chic on your wedding day.
