Just a few hours ago, Pooja showed off a new dip dye hairdo which turns from brunette to a bright, hot pink from the mid-length on. Twinkle Khanna

As a L'Oreal Professional ambassador, it isn't surprising to see Twinkle showcasing a fresh new hair colour shade. Although we didn't expect it to be this bold; at the same time, we're glad it was. Last September, she showed off a fierce red mane of bouncy waves, which we think suits her look fantastically.

With hair colour in Bollywood staying strictly in the muted brown range, it was a breath of fresh air to see Lisa Haydon opt for a shocking platinum blonde in November. While the actress and new mom was initially hesitant about the bold move, her hairstylist egged her on and boy, are we glad they did. Even though social media's reactions to her look may not have all been positive, we couldn't help but give it our two thumbs up.

Known for her risqué look and always striking style statements, it's unsurprising to see Nicki feature in this list. For a music video, Nicki Minaj sported a metallic suit and clear boots along with floor-length pastel pink cornrow braids that gradate from dark to light. Nope, we're not even a tad surprised.

Bella Thorne

There are a lot of things Bella Thorne is known for apart from acting and her hair colour is one of them. While the young celebrity is often seen with auburn locks, she showed off what she calls 'mint blonde', a grey blonde with dark green undertones and exposed roots. Until now, we never knew green could even intermix with blonde tones. Live and learn.

Now this one will go down in the history books, for certain. For her role in Fitoor, Katrina Kaif went all out with a statement-making bold burgundy, which she also showcased at her Cannes outing a few years ago. While the hair colour got mixed responses, it really brought out her face and looked wonderful with her lace dress on the rather complementary red carpet.

After seeing her in so many different shades from lavender to pink, it's almost startling to note that Katy Perry is a natural brunette. Last year, she opted for a spectacular platinum blonde shade and topped it off with a short crop, which we think wouldn't have suited anyone else the way it looked on Katy.
