Sameera Reddy is a proud mother. The actress keeps posting images and videos, featuring her son Hans and daughter Nyra. Sameera never shies away from sharing both positive and negative sides of motherhood. In an Instagram post, she talked about the importance of “me time” for the mommies out there. In the video, she can be seen taking time away from her parental duties and enjoying the solo beach vacation she went on to Greece. In a short note, Sameera wrote, “Sometimes, you just have to hit the brakes and take time for yourself. Because motherhood and life can really consume you. Mamas tend to lose themselves in the daily routine, and maybe they need some me time to remind them who they were before it all.”

In her caption, Sameera wrote, "Is she still there? Can you rekindle that love with yourself? That girl you were before marriage & kids? #imperfectlyperfect #selflove #motherhood." The actress shared a gratitude note for her mother-in-law Manjri Varde in comments section her post. "Special shoutout to Sassy Sassu for watching the kids when I went on this trip. You are my biggest strength, and I appreciate how you have my back, Manjri Varde," Sameera mentioned. Soon, her mother-in-law replied, "Oh, we Girls know how much pressure surrounds us each day. So, no big deal. Besides, they are MY grandchildren, na."

Earlier, in a LOL Instagram video, Sameera Reddy hilariously showed her acting prowess and portrayed various types of mothers in our daily lives. Her video also highlighted how a mother plays many roles in her child's development.

Previously, Sameera Reddy talked about how motherhood can be different for different individuals. In an interview with The Times Of India, she compared herself with her parents and other moms. She said, “We can't be the way our parents were. Things have changed so much. There is so much chatter on social media, so much perfect parenting. There are moms who claim they don't give their kids any sugar or screen time. I find that hard to believe.”

Sameera further explained how she balances her duties as a mother. “I do everything in balance. I believe whatever is working for me right now is the right way. Motherhood is your journey, and you have to make it yours. I have made it mine, and I am so glad. No regrets. Even if I keep making mistakes, I am not going to feel bad because that's part of the journey,” she added.

Sameera Reddy got married to entrepreneur Akshai Varde in January 2014. The couple welcomed their son Hans in May 2015 and daughter Nyra in July 2019.
