We all know Priya Prakash Varrier as the girl who shot to fame overnight thanks to a video clip of her from her upcoming film Oru Adaar Love. Even ahead of the release of her debut film, Priya Prakash Varrier became an internet sensation thanks to a wink aimed at her co-star in the song Manikya Malaraya Poovi from the film. With thousands of memes and an almost instant blue tick on Instagram after this clip went viral all over social media, Priya's became a face known to millions (currently 5 million and counting on Instagram) - and sooner than she had perhaps imagined.
We had observed Priya's style via her Instagram pictures only a few weeks ago - and Priya was refreshingly unstyled and dressed as any other young woman her age would (google says she's only 18).
Not only was her style her own and as organic as can be, but even Priya's posts on social media seemed limited to casual posts with her friends and a few posts here and there to promote her film. But the quick surge of popularity on social media seems to have made Priya more adept in the art of social media. Not only has Priya started posting more styled and posed pictures of herself, but she also makes sure to accompany them with well-meaning, encouraging and 'Instagram-worthy' captions. Her strong caption game along with higher resolution and better quality pictures of her seem to really be winning the internet.
