Priyanka Chopra was recently in New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Health Minister J P Nadda and former President of Chile Michelle Bachelet, who is the incoming chair of PMNCH Board (Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health), in regards to being a patron for the Partners' Forum. This year in December, India will play host to the largest ever Partners' Forum, with more than 1,200 delegates from more than 92 countries. Priyanka, who flew in from her Quantico duties, shared a post on Instagram thanking PM Modi and described the conversation as "insightful", "heartening" and "inspiring" to have world leaders join hands for "building a collective environment that could help propel the change we seek for a better world."

In her Instagram post, Priyanka Chopra wrote, "The aim is very important - the improvement and transformation of access to quality healthcare at at every life stage for women, children and adolescents, in an effort to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in 2030...We started something important today and I am looking forward to what is being set in motion."

Trolled once for wearing a short dress to meet PM Modi (in Berlin), Priyanka was taking no chances this time. She picked a summery white anarkali suit with embroidery detail, Chinese collar and a matching bindi to complete her look.

In May 2017, Priyanka wore a floral Zimmerman dress while meeting PM Modi in Berlin and was trolled for showing her knees. Knees are, apparently, 'indecent.'

This time traditionalists will definitely approve of her look, though Priyanka Chopra is not one to live by what trolls have to say. As a global icon, Priyanka inspires women not just in India but the world over - the Quantico star is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

Meeting PM Modi wasn't the only item on Priyanka's Delhi agenda. Yesterday, she attended a press meet for UNICEF wearing a cobalt blue Missoni jumpsuit.

Later, Priyanka Chopra attended a book launch, wearing a blush and white Manish Malhotra ensemble.

We see Priyanka Chopra in India only rarely and all too briefly now - but at least she makes it count, sartorially speaking.
