Two weekends ago, Rahul Khanna gave us #TravelGoals; last weekend, he ate his way through like an epic food connoisseur. Obviously, that ended up giving us some serious #FOMO and hunger pangs but my God, the guy lives a seriously lush life. And let's face it, we love him for it.
So, in the weekend that just went by, Rahul Khanna was at an exclusive lunch in Mumbai with Daniel Humm, co-owner and chef at upscale New York eatery Eleven Madison Park. Known for his minimalist presentation and almost artisanal food, Humm's preparations were presented as a part of the The World Series by American Express. There is also a dinner scheduled to happen in Delhi, on April 28.

But Rahul Khanna was kind enough to give us a peep into what was served at St Regis in Mumbai. The pictures speak for themselves and make us wish we had been there. Between salivating over the images and plotting how we can get in on the Delhi event, we're barely able to write this.
But before we get to talking about the food, let's take a moment to gawk at this good-looking chap, all dressed up this time in a Canali suit and Gucci shoes. Dapper strikes again.

Now onwards to the food - out of the nine courses that were apparently served, Rahul Khanna posted seven of them because he forgot to click the first two. Oh, Rahul.
But the rest of the meal was all a fine combination of luxury and exotic delicacies coming together in an interestingly gourmet style. The epicurean in us in virtual food coma. See for yourself.

First two courses served at the lunch

Daikon is a mild -flavoured radish

Foie gras, is made of a duck's liver

Red snapper fish, anyone?

The lunch saw a lot of interesting ingredients coming together, clearly

Mouth = watering

Here's a dessert we would screw our diets for

Ever seen so fine a pretzel?
Keep the life goals coming, Mr Khanna.
