It's been 10 years of Raw Mango and still the original essence of the brand remains strong and steady. The label, known and commended for its contemporary hand woven textiles, just launched a new collection called 'Midnight'. Unlike other designers, Sanjay Garg has actually evolved the ideas behind one of his previous collections, 'Vana' and given it a new, darker spin. As the name suggests, Midnight consists of dark colours, mostly black and navy with brighter, floral detailing. As a post on Raw Mango's Instagram explains, the collection celebrates flowers that bloom at night. To celebrate the launch of the collection filmmaker Kiran Rao and journalist Gayatri Rangachari Shah co-hosted a dinner gathering for a chosen few.
Kiran Rao was, of course, was wearing a piece from the new collection - the Umbra sari and New Moon organza blouse:

Mini Mathur was in attendance at the lauch. She wore the Caleb brocade jacket and Hala pajama from the 'Cloud People' collection:
Another glamourous attendee was Lisa Ray, wearing Sanjay Garg's Nebisa slip dress and Mashid brocade jacket from the 'Cloud People' collection:
Sanjana Kapoor and Priyanka Bose also attended the launch dinner:
You can have a look at the entire Midnight collection here. It has been shot entirely at night, to compliment the design process behind the collection.
