Spring has gone and so has summer. We're in the throes of monsoon but still, there are days when all we can think of is the sun-laden season and its delightfully fresh fashion. It's a feeling that seems to resound with Reese Witherspoon too. Big things are in the works for the Oscar-winning actress. Along with filming the uber popular show Big Little Lies, Reese also has plenty of work lined up for the next couple of years, most notably Legally Blond 3 in 2020. Currently, her unscripted talk show, Shine On With Reese is a highlight as it launches to high expectations.
For the launch event, Reese channeled a sunny spring day and turned up in a gorgeous look. Reese wore a black and white mini dress by Monique Lhullier with long sleeves and butterfly applique all over. She paired this with hoop earrings, rings and black pointed pumps.

Her blonde hair was worn straight with winged grey eye makeup and metallic peach lips. While the makeup look added a subtly chic touch to the outfit, it didn't take anything away from it. Rest assured, all eyes were on her pretty dress.

Black and white are usually thought to be shades reserved for muted formal looks but Reese's latest look proved quite the opposite. She wears the achromatic shades wonderfully for the day and pairs it with a defined and fresh makeup look. What really brings out those spring feels is the butterfly detailing over the cute-as-a-button mini dress which Reese looks lovely in.
