Those of you who love and look up to Sonam Kapoor's fashion choices, you should know this - behind Sonam Kapoor's up-to-the-minute, modish and often trend setting style is her talented stylist, who just also happens to be her younger sister, Rhea Kapoor. More often than not, it's Rhea Kapoor who is behind her sisters impeccable style. It's not surprising then that when it comes to herself, Rhea also opts for path breaking, trend making options.
At her cousin Mohit Marwah's wedding, which the entire Kapoor family is currently attending in the UAE, Rhea brought her A-game on. Not only did she wear an edgy Anamika Khanna outfit, that compels you to take a second (and third) look, but she paired her outfit with sneakers. No just any sneakers, mind you, Rhea calls these sneakers the 'perfect mehendi sneakers' in her Instagram caption. A closer look at these Aprajita Toor sneakers and you'll understand why. These aren't just your plain white sneakers; this pair is perfectly embellished with handcrafted zardosi work. Perfect mehendi sneakers, indeed.
While Rhea's sneakers definitely made her outfit worthy of stealing the show, some credit must be given to her out-of-the-box choice of clothes. We're not sure what to call this two piece Anamika Khanna ensemble, but she seems to be wearing a dhoti skirt of sorts under her mango coloured kurta. That along with the potli bag she was carrying and her beaded necklace definitely made sure she was standing out of the star studded crowd.
Rhea Kapoor prefers staying out of the limelight and behind the camera rather than in front, unlike the rest of her family. But we have to say, with fashion choices like this one out for the world to see, it's going to get harder.
Other than being a stylist Rhea has also produced films such as Aisha and Khoobsurat. Her latest production Veere Di Wedding starring Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor is slated to release on 1st June.
