With one female-centric movie out of the door in Bollywood, we're narrowing our sights on Hollywood's next one, Ocean's 8. Like the rest of the Ocean franchise, the plot involves a heist but this this time it's with a starry cast of eight female leads at the Met Gala. The movie releases worldwide this June and even before it hits screens, the premiere itself was high on glamour. From among the stylishly dressed cast and celebrity guests, here are seven of the best dressed looks from the night.

Cate Blanchett kept up her pantsuit streak and magically pulled off a completely printed sequined Missoni suit with ease. Topping it off is metallic pumps and Rachel Comey earrings.

Mindy Kaling wore a black Prabal Gurung gown that's as glittery as the night sky with a flowing train at the back. Diamond jewellery and strappy stilettos completed the elegant look.

Actress Dascha Polanco gave the red carpet a pop of colour in a vibrant yellow off-shoulder dress from Jay Godfrey with a ruffled slit paired with dangling earrings, a low ponytail and mint green eye makeup.

Awkwafina was seen in a white Reem Acra gown with cape sleeve details. Her hair was worn straight with silver eye makeup to complete the angelic look.

Rihanna's outfit, which was the boldest of the night, was a metallic Givenchy midi dress with exaggerated ruffles and layers. Keeping her beauty look equally striking, she wore deep purple lips, plenty of body shimmer and slicked back hair.

Sandra Bullock looked red carpet ready in a feather and sequin Elie Saab Haute Couture gown, worn with dark eye makeup and an updo hairstyle.

Model Adriana Lima blew us away in a sparkling black Roberto Cavalli Couture gown with a thigh high slit. She wore this with smokey eyes, slick hair and a black clutch.
