Mondays require the steeliest of resolves to get into gear. While many find motivation in wellness, some turn to pretty things. Sania Mirza is one of the latter. The sportswoman posted a photo of herself on Instagram which looked like she began the work week on a fabulously fierce note. In the picture, Sania showcased a magnificently luminous complexion, which found focus with her hair tucked back in a sleek bun hairstyle. Cheeks draped with pink blush and illuminated with highlighter added radiance. Then, she went in with filled-in brows, full lashes and a stroke of black winged eyeliner to frame her face. But it was clear as day that her lips were intended to steal the spotlight. Perfectly colouring Sania's lips in a coat of a satin-finished rouge was red lipstick. Her caption emphasised this, as she wrote, "Put on some red lipstick and live a little they said". Gold wavy hoops and stud earrings added a metallic glint to her ivory blazer and black tank top. How's that for a Monday makeup statement.

A statement lip isn't Sania Mirza's usual makeup choice so when she does don one, it's worth spotting. This summer, the athlete displayed a gloriously glam look when she pulled up her dark tresses in a half-ponytail hairstyle. With it, she wore black eyeshadow with contoured cheeks and a metallic-finished wine coloured lip.
