Experience at Lakme Fashion Week this year
Sara Ali Khan's Murder Mubarak premiered on Netflix on March 15. The actress, who is also keeping busy with promotions of Ae Watan Mere Watan, stated that it was a fun change to walk at the Lakme Fashion Week amidst all the work commitments. Sara said, “Honestly, it is always fun. But it has been a little hectic this month. Two of my films—one is released and one is due to release—so I have just been a little hectic. So it was kind of nice and fun and change from promotional events to do this.”
Sara Ali Khan's go-to lehenga
Sara Ali Khan's style statement screams her love for lehenga out loud. Be it on the red carpet or festive season, Sara's penchant for lehenga rightly leaves behind a trail of inspiration for wedding season looks. So when we asked Sara about her go-to lehenga, the actress said that “a good lehenga should fit your mood”.
Talking about her go-to lehenga, Sara said, “I think it really depends on what the requirement is. You can go from wanting to feel hot to young to pretty to comfortable. A good lehenga should fit your mood.”
Favourite Holi Outfit
Sara Ali Khan's favourite Holi outfit includes all things uber-cool. The actress said, “White shirt and denim shorts, preferably.”
What is Sara Ali Khan's ramp look for ethnic wear—dupatta or no dupatta
Sara Ali Khan confessed that she loves dupattas. But, in the end, it totally depends on the designers. She said, “My personal style, I am a huge fan of dupattas. Ab designer jo denge wahi pehnungi na. [Now, whatever designers will give me, I will wear that only].”
FYI: Sara Ali Khan is “trying to steal Bambi's Bulgari watch”
Talking about her favourite outfit in her wardrobe, Sara said, “So it is not one, especially because I am promoting both my films, it is coming to my mind that I have one article of clothing and accessories from every film of mine. So I have Usha's period watch (her character from Ae Watan Mere Watan). I am trying to steal Bambi's (Sara's character from Murder Mubarak) Bulgari watch. I don't know how that is going to go down with productions.”
Finally, the blockbuster question
When asked about an item that she would steal from her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan's wardrobe, Sara Ali Khan confessed that it wouldn't be a clothing item. The actress said, “I would steal Ibrahim's inherent constant sense of style, swag and confidence. If I could just have that I wouldn't need to steal anything.”
