Sara Tendulkar and her mother, Anjali Tendulkar, are the true embodiment of the phrase, "like mother, like daughter." There was no doubt about it, but they went ahead and confirmed it when they chose matching outfits for an event recently.
The mother-daughter duo stunned in matching Indo-Western co-ord sets. The only difference was the choice of colours - a subtle nod to their individuality within their matching styles. Sara, known for her vibrant and youthful fashion sensibilities, chose a bright red co-ord set. Anjali Tendulkar picked an identical set in a beautiful blush pink hue that mirrored Sara's silhouette but carried a regal charm befitting her graceful demeanour.

The outfit is a contemporary take on the conventional straight suits. It was a long kurti with straight-wide trousers. The modern sophistication is blended with traditional embroidery. The duo styled their sets in minimalistic ways to not distract from the heavily embellished outfits. Sara Tendulkar went with her usual wrist jewellery and drop earrings but paired her outfit with golden Kolhapuri flat sandals. Anjali Tendulkar on the other hand, paired her outfit with heels.
For festive occasions, the mother-daughter duo often dons similar outfits. If they're not similar in pattern, they're similar in style. If they're not similar in style, they're similar in colour. Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations were all about the colour in similar silhouettes.
Although they picked bright orange ensembles for the celebration, they were both different in their own unique ways. Anjali Tendulkar picked a blood orange anarkali suit while Sara wore a bright orange sharara with a contrasting dupatta.
The coordinated yet individulistic outfits of Sara and Anjali Tendulkar underscores their strong bond and effortless fashion synergy.
