Shea butter has natural nourishing and healing properties which, when used with other ingredients, can do magic to your skin. For this DIY remedy, you need shea butter, 1 teaspoon of honey, 4 to 5 drops of carrot seed oil, 5 drops of geranium essential oil, 3 tablespoons of rose water and few drops of lavender oil. Now blend all the ingredients well in a blender and you can use it as a moisturiser.

Remedy 2

Here's another remedy that is also super easy and hassle-free. For this one, all you need is one teaspoon of raw honey, half a cup of shea butter, 2 tablespoons of rose water, 10 drops of lemon essential oil and 10 drops of lavender essential oil. Blend the shea butter, honey, and rose water together for 1 or 2 minutes. Then add rest of the ingredients and stir it. Store it in an airtight container and use it daily.

Using shea butter directly onto the skin in the correct way and of an appropriate amount is also another great way to treat pigmentation. All you have to do is simply cleanse your face and then moisturise it. Apply shea butter over your face for best results. This will help in reducing the appearance of dark patches.

Another DIY recipe just needs few ingredients. For this remedy, all you need is 3 tablespoons of shea butter, 2 tablespoons of gram flour, 3 capsules of vitamin E oil and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder. Make sure all the ingredients are mixed well. Store it in a container and keep it in a cold and dry place and then apply it over clean face.
