It has been quite a year for Alia Bhatt in just a couple of months. After her successful debut at the Met Gala 2023 in a Prabal Gurung pearl-embedded gown, the actress has now been announced as the first global ambassador from India for the Italian luxury brand, Gucci. Following her much-talked-about Bollywood success, the star is now making headway in the fashion space too. In an announcement on her Instagram post, earlier today, the star said "I'm honored to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but on a global stage. Gucci's legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I'm looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together."
While Deepika Padukone, a Louis Vuitton ambassador and Priyanka Chopra, the face of Bulgari, have been on the international radar for quite some time now, Alia is making strides. From RRR's Oscar win, to her Hollywood debut in the Heart Of Stone with Gal Gadot, she is fast climbing the Hollywood ladder. The brand posted on its social media as it announced Alia Bhatt as the ambassador. They posted, " Alia Bhatt is the House's newest Global Brand Ambassador. To mark the occasion, the actress, producer, and entrepreneur was captured with the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag."
Alia will make her first appearance as the brand ambassador for Gucci's upcoming Cruise 2024 fashion showcase in Seoul, at Gyeongbokgung Palace, on May 16, 2023. Alia is another remarkable face to represent on a global scale for an International fashion brand, following Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone. The star has often been seen donning Gucci apparel and accessories, so this collaboration was a long time coming. Her recent look was all about red carpet supremacy as she looked chic in Gucci. She opted for a tailored fit with a checkered pattern and a clean powder blue shirt.
Even her maternity style was complete in a pink Gucci dress. She picked a chiffon ruffle dress which came in a frothy pink shade. She paired the look with a sleeveless waistcoat and black trousers.
