1. Rainforest Walks

Wander through the lush, ancient rainforest on well-maintained trails. The Daintree is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, some of which can't be found anywhere else in the world.

2. Wildlife Watching

Queensland is a hotspot for wildlife enthusiasts. Keep an eye out for cassowaries, the large, flightless birds native to the region. Other animals to look for include tree kangaroos, sugar gliders and several kinds of reptiles and amphibians.

3. River Cruises

Take a serene boat ride along the Daintree River, offering a unique view of the rainforest and its wildlife. You might spot crocodiles basking on the banks, colourful kingfishers flying over the water and other riverine wildlife. The cruises are a relaxing way to experience the natural beauty of the forest.

4. Explore Noosa Everglades

Despite being one of the most enigmatic hidden locations in Noosa, it is very easy to get to and can be explored in a half-day. A self-guided kayak, canoeing, or even a BBQ river cruise to enjoy this amazing environment from the water are just a few of the exciting activities you can attempt while you're here to experience the Noosa Everglades.

5. Jungle Surfing

The Mossman Gorge, marking the southern boundary of Daintree National Park, is one of the most popular locations to experience the world's oldest rainforest. The dense forest and picturesque river gorge harbour, which date back more than 130 million years, provide a rich biodiversity environment and an amazing view for hikers and swimmers.
